Quash: To nullify, void or
declare invalid.
Quid Pro Quo Sexual Harassment: Where
an employee is threatened with a demotion (or promised a promotion) in exchange
for "sexual favors." It usually comes from a supervisor or other
person in a position of authority.
Quid Pro Quo: Latin phrase
that means what for what or something for something. The concept of getting
something of value in return for giving something of value. For a contract to be
binding, it usually must involve the exchange of something of value.
Quitclaim Deed:
A deed that transfers the owner's interest to a buyer but does not guarantee
that there are no other claims against the property.
